Local people\'s perception of tourism\'s impact and quality of life is a major factor influencing their participation in tourism. Support will be greater if there are more benefits from the local tourism industry. Responsible tourism is seen as one of the alternatives to minimize the negative impacts of tourism and increase the long-term benefits for local tourism. The aim of this study was to investigate the relationships between the perceived impacts of Henan Rural Tourism Transformation Development (HRTTD), responsible tourism practices, quality of life, and supports for the further development of HRTTD. The study applied social exchange theory as an underpinning theory to explain the relationship between the variables. A quantitative approach was applied to a randomly selected group of participants drawn from five active rural tourism villages in Henan. Data was collected face-to-face as respondents needed guidance in filling out the questionnaire. Three hundred and eight-five responses were selected and analyzed, and Partial Least Square Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) was used to test the hypotheses. This study has confirmed that quality of life partially mediates the relationship between perceived impacts of HRTTD (economic and cultural) and supports further tourism development. The study contributed to the field of tourism research by examining the intricate interplay between local perception, responsible tourism, quality of life, and support for tourism development. Besides, this study enhanced the understanding of how these factors interact and provide actionable insights for fostering sustainable tourism practices and community engagement.

Chinese-foreign cooperative education has become an important part of the internationalization of higher education in China after the rapid development of the last forty years. The government plays a key role in the development of Chinese-foreign cooperative education through the formulation and implementation of public policies. Furthermore, policy instruments are powerful drivers of policy performance and are central to the policy-making process. The study takes the policies related to Chinese-foreign cooperative education since the reform and opening up in 1978 as its research object and builds a two-dimensional analysis framework based on McDonnell and Elmore\'s policy instrument theory and the elements of Chinese-foreign cooperative education policies. With Nvivo 12 Plus to code and deeply analyze the policy texts, it clarifies the history of the policy on Chinese-foreign cooperative education and reflects on the advantages and shortcomings of the configuration of policy instruments.

This study was generated from classroom work based on critical pedagogy, from the assumptions of a doctoral thesis in education, which allowed the design of a didactic activity evaluated through the action-pedagogical research methodology proposed by John Elliott. From an aesthetic perspective, the ability to respect the difference is adapted using five graphic pieces by the caricaturists La Cola de Rata, Bacteria, Matador, Bonil and Trino. The research was carried out with a group of students from the University of Medell�n studying the elective subject Body, Monster, and Diversity; after the design, the strategy was implemented using the highest methodology and evaluated from anecdotal records. The results that the students represented promoted reflection towards difference; however, some difficulty was evident when using the caricature to deliver a message.

It is focused on the examination of reconstruction practices in historic architecture and the reconstruction of Hagia Sophia Fatih Madrasah. It is usually defined as the reconstruction of a building of historical value that has been lost, damaged or demolished over time by remaining faithful to its original state. Here the importance of history and aims of reconstruction are discussed in detail.. The history, development, methods, criteria and standards of reconstruction are emphasised. Reconstruction practices in the World and in Turkey are analyzed. As a result of this examination, the benefits and problems of reconstruction and the effect of these practices on the protection of cultural heritage are discussed.A detailed examination of construction of the Hagia Sophia Fatih Madrasah is tried to be studied. The building is located in the Historical Peninsula of Istanbul and focuses on the reconstruction of an important historical building, one of the oldest educational structures of the Ottoman period. The history, architectural features, building materials and construction techniques of the madrasah are investigated. In addition, the reconstruction processes of the madrasah are analyzed in detail. Opinions on the reconstruction of Hagia Sophia Fatih Madrasah are discussed. The difficulties encountered in the reconstruction process,The decisions which were taken and the changes which were made are analyzed. In addition, the direct and indirect effects of the reconstruction of the madrasah are emphasised.In conclusion, it has taken notice the importance of reconstruction practices in the process of conservation and reconstruction of cultural heritage. It is analyzed examples of reconstruction in the world and in Turkey and presented the advantages and disadvantages of these practices.

Art education in teacher training diverges from specialized art education geared towards professional artists. Teacher education prioritizes aesthetic competence through art production and appreciation, aiming to cultivate taste based on values. In contrast, specialized art education focuses on creating aesthetic works within established forms, targeting aspiring professional artists. These distinct emphases significantly shape their respective approaches. Teacher training institutions emphasize fostering students\' appreciation for art\'s value and the importance of aesthetic experiences. However, confusion sometimes blurs the goals between teacher training and specialized art education, affecting art education across different levels. This confusion can lead to an overemphasis on art production over a deep understanding of aesthetics. This paper critically examines these issues and suggests solutions to align art education in teacher training with its intended goals. By clarifying these distinctions and underscoring the role of aesthetic experience, this study aims to enhance art education practices in teacher training programs.

This study explores the challenges encountered by students in an e-learning setting at the University of Technology in South Africa. The study employed qualitative research methods, utilizing semi-structured interviews as the primary tool for data collection. Ten students, identified as S1 to S10, formed a purposeful sample and participated in the research. The collected data was thematically analyzed to identify and understand the challenges faced by these students. The analysis revealed four major themes: limited access to reliable internet connections, engagement and motivational challenges, inadequate institutional support, and socio-economic challenges. Based on the findings, the main conclusions of the study suggest that students in the e-learning setting face multiple challenges that hinder their productive learning experience. To address these challenges, recommendations are made to improve internet infrastructure, enhance student engagement and motivation, provide stronger institutional support, and alleviate socio-economic obstacles. It is hoped that these findings and recommendations will contribute to the design and implementation of more effective e-learning strategies at the University of Technology and beyond.

This paper presents the study and development of micro grid-connected PV/Wind hybrid system in Algeria. The aim of this study is to design the best configuration and installing the PV/Wind hybrid system with the best quality/price ratio (where it is needed and with the simplest possible configuration). The simplicity of the power system contributes to reducing its maintenance cost and increasing its reliability. For this aim, a new strategy based on the optimization of the energy extracted from these sources, by choosing the best combination (location/configuration). Will presented in this work using a low-voltage three-phase network to get rid of the storage problem, and with the ability to operate in islanding mode to supply consumers with electrical energy in case of electricity shortage resulting from a failure of this latter, and thus limited the number of consumers affected by this network breakdown. These systems could be implemented by, farmers, cooperatives, individuals, and local communities considered as electricity producers in this case. The simulation results show the control performance and dynamic behavior of the PV/Wind system and islanding mode.

This paper aims to examine the impact of mergers on the financial performance of the Jordanian banking sector. This paper applies the financial approaches in analysing the effects of mergers in Jordanian banks’ performance for the two periods: four years pre-merger and four years’ post-merger for the period from 2001 to 2009. The sample of the study only contains the case of the merger of the Jordan Ahli Bank (AHLI bank) with Philadelphia Bank in 2005, resulting in the Jordan Ahli Bank. In addition, we could not study the other case (the merger of the Jordan Gulf Bank and Mashreq Bank in 1993, resulting in the Jordan Gulf Bank because the Jordan Gulf Bank’s financial statements are not available in public databases. Financial ratios and statistical techniques in the form of a paired t-test are used in order to assess the significance in the financial performance of the selected banks pre and post-merger by investigating the performance-related financial ratio groups that are expressed by leverage, liquidity, efficiency and cash flow ratio. The results show that the profitability ratios, namely the ROA, ROE, and IM ratios increased significantly, while the IS ratio increased insignificantly. In addition, the liquidity ratios which include the CCETA, DR and DTA ratios significantly deteriorated after the merger. Furthermore, the ITA ratio insignificantly deteriorated, while the NCFD ratio insignificantly increased. Moreover, the leverage ratios which include the ER and TDTE significantly increased. Finally, the cash flow ratios which include the one and only CNOA ratio increased insignificantly. Overall we can conclude that there is an insignificant improvement in the ratios of the AHLI bank in the period after the merger except for the leverage ratios which significantly improved. The reason for the insignificant improvement in the ratios may be that the post-merger period corresponds to the period of the global financial crisis that began in 2007.

The aim of implementing vaccine therapy is to activate immune response against malignant cells by overcoming the tolerance triggered by the tumor. These treatments are effective using the immune response against cancer. Not every type of cancer is suitable for vaccine therapies. For a vaccine therapy to be implemented, the cancer should be immunogenic and contain tissue specific proteins, should have a slow progression, and treatments should be feasible. For that reason, studies regarding urological cancers are mostly focused on the kidneys and the prostate. Vaccine therapies used in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) can be categorized under the following titles; autologous tumor cells, dendritic cells, genetically modified tumor cells, protein/peptid. Although there are old studies on the implementation of vaccine therapies in RCC, researches have only been intensified recently. In addition to their effective potential for lengthening general survival, decreasing tumor burden and cancer development in long term, vaccine treatments are especially effective in metastatic renal cell carcinoma patients. We think that vaccine treatments would be applied more in near future since renal cell carcinoma are immunogenic. In this compilation, we will discuss vaccine therapies used in RCC, which urologists are not so familiar with, in the light of the up-to-date literature.

The CVD (Cardiovascular disease) are well known as the main causes of death in the world and particularly the ischemic cardiomyopathy. This pathology could be primary or secondary to another disease resulting from several other disorders such as obesity, dyslipidemia, hypertension, metabolic syndrome, alcoholism and mainly diabetes. The aim of this study is to determine the para-clinical characteristics in the presence/absence of different CVRF (Cardiovascular risk factor) and their clinical impact in diabetic patients to stimulate ischemic cardiac disease. The comparison of associated parameters in both groups (with and no diabetes myocardial ischemia patients) showed that para-clinical parameters were associated with the pathology. Our findings express that diabetics are more exposed to hematologic disturbance than in the absence of the tested parameters. However, this difference did not have a statistically significant p-value explaining that diabetes amplifies the disturbance that has already begun. Diabetes is not the only CVRF that can determine CVD risk; however it impacts high acceleration and amplification of hematologic disturbance of cardiac diagnostic parameters. A significant association was found between blood hematocrit and diabetic cardiopathy (p = 0.02) while other parameters (blood glucose, troponin, platelets, mineral ions, metal proteins, oxidative stress and inflammatory disturbance) are close to significance (p < 0.1). In addition, we clearly showed an interference of diabetes in the disruption of CPK enzymes, transaminases and clearance. Diabetic cardiopathy is a specific pathology with a particular diagnostic and prognostic study. Diabetes is the major risk of high hematological disturbances and is more dangerous in the presence of other CVRF.

Climate changes have brought attention to the Arctic region not only due to the environmental consequences but also towards the economic impact as human activities in the area escalates. The area holds vast natural resources, it attracts tourists and there are indications towards increased maritime activities for commercial purposes. \nA study among stakeholders previously identified some eight (8) major impact factors to be included in a stochastic decision model and if they are interrelated. An abstraction of a model could therefore be presented. This study describes a follow up on the model abstraction where the strength, interrelation and connection of the decision parameters are decided by an cross-impact analysis.

Noise reduction in images or signals is the important process in image processing and signal processing applications. Most of the cases, filter is used to eliminate the noise in the images. Different filters are available in the image processing for noise reduction. In this paper designed a 19-tap low pass FIR with Reduced MAC unit. The filter is efficiently designed by using Matlab simulink and Xilinx system generator. Reduced MAC unit reduces the hardware utilization of the device. The noisy input signal is applied into the filter for noise elimination. After the completing the simulink simulation, start to generating the verilogHDL code using Xilinx system generator. In the time of code generation the device specifications are selected for Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) implementation. System generator is used to implement the filter into the FPGA Hardware. The device utilization and timing summary of the filter can be evaluated using Xilinx 12.4 simulation tool.
