The umbral calculus, constructed a completely rigorous mathematical foundations for the theory by G. C.\nRota in the 1970s, is one of the important tools that can be used to study the properties of special functions. And, the Stirling numbers of the first kind and the second kind, respectively, are very important numbers in combinatorics, and their\nproperties and generalization are being actively studied by many researchers. In this paper, we derive some interesting\nidentities that found the relationships between degenerate type 2 Bernoulli polynomials and those special functions by using umbral calculus and λ-analogue of the Stirling numbers of the first and the second kind, respectively. We present explicit formulas for representations of the degenerate degenerate type 2 Bernoulli polynomials. Moreover, we investigate the pattern of the root distribution of these polynomials.

As an emerging interdisciplinary degree, Area Studies has gradually become a hot spot in recent social science research and has achieved remarkable development in higher education in the Mainland of China. This study is based on a bibliometric analysis of journal articles from the CNKI database and analyzes the development trends and current themes of Area Studies from 2008-2022 in the Mainland of China. The study finds that there are overlapped concepts of Area Studies as a new discipline, and the current themes of Area studies focus on the theoretical construction of Area Studies as a discipline that is highly driven by top-down national educational governance. The author claims that there is a need to further clarify the core concept and scope of this discipline and higher education institutions need to continuously implement and optimize various national-level educational policies for the construction of foreign area studies. Curriculum development and design are critical for the cultivation of specialists in Area Studies and Area studies communities should take a more proactive approach to pursue an integrative curriculum that combines humanities and social science to improve the overall quality of scientific research and teaching of Area studies both in undergraduate and postgraduate education. As an interdisciplinary degree under the background of new liberal arts, Area Studies in the Mainland of China fully echoes the profound changes in higher education reform that emphasizes cross-disciplinary education, new liberal arts, and compound talent, which constructs the national talent strategy.

With the development of human society, needs and requirements, there are changes in the professions themselves. In the life of each of us, we encounter so-called helping professions or directly practice them. Each profession has its own requirements, legal standards, and we also work with the personality aspect of the worker. This professional text provides a description of the professional nature of a social worker in the Czech Republic and points to developments that should reflect imminent change. Since 2006, the Czech Republic has had legislation regulating the essence of social services, and with regard to reflection, there is new talk of necessary changes.

The Ecosystem Services (ES) are the benefits people obtain from nature contributing to our well-being. Although this recent concept has a high didactic potential, the ES term is sparsely characterized in education literature. In this article, we present the Ecosystem Services framework as an innovative and intuitive teaching and learning concept that, taught together with the biodiversity concept, may help students develop competencies to make valid claims about the world and to think critically on humans’ role on Earth. To do so, we present an educational experience based on active teaching and learning strategies that has been implemented with pre-service primary school teachers, and which is adaptable and transferable to many educational and cultural contexts. Teaching Ecosystem Services through flipped classroom and active teaching methodologies, has proved to be useful and necessary to make pre-service school teachers understand and be able to defend the importance of nature conservation for human well-being. Thanks to teaching the Ecosystem Services concept in an active and inductive way, students have improved their argumentation in favour of nature conservation and have developed communication competences to better transfer this knowledge to society. We conclude that teaching the Ecosystem Service concept using active teaching strategies such as the one presented in this paper can contribute to helping achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, as improving students\' argumentation and communication skills to defend the importance of nature conservation for human well-being is key to \"transforming our world\" as urged by the UN.

Zinc oxide nanoparticles (ZnO NPs) have peaked interests in many researches in these recent years due to their advantageous application in modern health care applications. Therefore, we successfully synthesized ZnO NPs by Acacia Luciana flower extract as stabilizing, reducing and capping agent, to investigate the antiproliferative potential and apoptosis induction in breast cancer cell lines. The involvements of Acacia Luciana bioactive compounds in the stabilization of the ZnO NPs were confirmed by FTIR analysis. FESEM and EDS instruments confirmed that biosynthesized nanoparticles have an irregular morphology and mostly composed of Zn, C and O respectively. The TEM and zeta potential instruments confirmed that biosynthesized nanoparticles have slight negative charges with particle size of 40nm. The survivorship of MCF-7 cells were examined by MTT assay and revealed that ZnO NPs inhibited cell viability in a dose- and time-dependent effect with IC50 value of 3.1 mg/mL after 72 h exposure. Also, as a novel work onto ZnO NPs obtained by Acacia extracts, the Bak1/Bclx expression ratio was elucidated utilizing RT-PCR technique. The results demonstrated that ZnO NPs could enhance the expression ratio; therefore they have the potential to induce apoptosis in breast cancer cells via mitochondria-mediated apoptotic pathway.

Injuries related to falls are important causes of disability and mortality in the people especially in the elderly. Although falls cannot currently be detected effectively, the development of fall detection systems is very important. The purpose of this study is to review investigations that have developed fall detection systems. Studies in this review reported different items that are effective in detection falls. The specificity and sensitivity of pre-fall detection systems were reported differently depending on the methods used and the thresholds considered. The finding of this review identifies the main elements to be considered for providing better accuracy and sensitivity of wearable sensors for pre-falling detection and threshold-based algorithms. Also, this study may provide useful suggestions for the selection of threshold-based algorithms for fall detection systems.

Kilis is a province in Turkey having the highest ratio of Syrian to Turkish population with 95,61 %. Therefore, Kilis province is an important topic for the education and social integration of Syrian students. The aim of the present study was to identify the administrative problems that school principals face at schools in the Kilis province with high Syrian student population and to provide suggestions for overcoming these problems. Based on the acquired findings, it has been identified that school principals experience problems such as language and communication problems, crowded classrooms and environments, registration uncertainties, accordance between the parents (Turkish-Syrian), school culture, discipline and behavior. In addition, problems were also identified under headings such as financial resource insufficiency, personnel requirements and in-service training requirements. It has been emphasized that making courses more active, increasing the number of course hours for the targeted culture language will be more beneficial for overcoming the language issues. It has also been indicated that equal distribution of Syrian students to the schools and balancing the student ratio in the province through the use of transportation options if necessary will also be beneficial

COVID-19 compelled universities to switch from physical mode of teaching to online\nmode of teaching. This study aimed to explore online learning problems of students at\nQuaid-e-Awam University of Engineering Science & Technology Nawabshah.\nParticipants had undergone full semester through online classes. Data were collected\nfrom the department of Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics &\nStatistics and English language and literature. The mode of data collection was Google\nForms questionnaire survey since all the students were out of campus due to second\nwave of COVID in Pakistan. All students enrolled in four departments were invited\nfor participation in this survey but 120 participated in this study. Data were analyzed\nstatistically computing percentages for variables included in the questionnaire.\nFindings revealed that: i) poor computer literacy, ii) load shedding of electricity, iii)\nslow internet speed, iv) expensive internet packages and v) lack of interaction between\nstudent and teacher were online learning problems of students. Findings of study would\nassist in improving online teaching and learning in Pakistan. Additionally, it shall help\nacademicians and administrators for formulating effective policies & procedures for\ndeveloping effective online education mechanism to cope with any academic\nemergency situation in Pakistan.

In today\'s world a lot of various kinds of raw material are shipped from one place to another as per the requirement in industries. This shipping process involved many multiple levels with multiple personalities or authorities. The intermediates may be influenced by some illegal external factors and there may be some theft or modification in the raw material which is in shipping process. This generates a significant loss if the material is of high cost. Presently, the advancements in the information technology precede a method to restrict this loss and it is blockchain. Blockchain technology is having an important feature to enabling comprehensive view of events back to origination. In this manuscript, I have proposed a shipping chain of raw material which provides integrity and tamper resistance of raw material in shipping process. I have also provided proof of concept (PoC) in Hyperledger Composer with performance evaluation.

An unauthorized leak of information that is not tolerable always implies inadequate or poor security measures of information. Globally, the hospitality industry has in the recent past been targeted by cybercrimes. Management of cybercrimes are divided into facets like policies of security frameworks, cyber-threats, and management appreciating the value of Information Technology investment. These aspects possess a notable influence on the information security of an organization. This study’s purpose is to examine cybersecurity activities of network threats, electronic information, and the techniques of preventing cybercrime in hotels. Helping Chief Information Officers (CIO) and the directors of information technology is the main aim of the research to improve policy for electronic information security in the hospitality industry and recommending several tools and techniques to stabilize the network of computers. Further, to protect personal information disclosure for the visitors, an information hiding technique has been proposed by utilizing the least significant bits (LSBs) of each pixel of grayscale image adopting XOR features of the host image (HI) pixels. Also, the proposed technique successfully withstands various steganalysis attacks like regular and singular (RS) attack and pixel difference histogram (PDH) attack.
