This paper seeks to highlight the various interpretations that, before the Second Council of Constantinople (May-June 553), many Latin Church Fathers gave on several metaphorical expressions, such as \"temple of God,” \"sanctuary,” \"tabernacle,” \"ark,\" and other similar terms referring to spaces or containers reserved for deity. To address this issue, the author of the current article structures his methodology on three fundamental strategies: the first step consists in a systematic and profound tracking in Patristic and theological sources to detect relevant statements by conspicuous masters of Christian doctrine on the subject; through the second procedure, he analyzes intra-textually each found Patristic assertions to decipher the doctrinal interpretation that every Christian writer brings about such metaphors; by the third, conclusive methodological strategy, the intertextually relates all these texts, and authors through a comparative analysis for highlighting their possible concordances or discrepancies. The first decisive finding is that all the Christian teachers analyzed here coincide in interpreting the aforementioned metaphorical expressions as symbols of God the Son\'s incarnation in the Virgin Mary\'s womb. Additional and more precise analyses allow us to decipher that, beyond this full substantial concordance, the cited writers proposed three different, although essentially interconnected and complementary exegetical variants: one, strictly Mariological; a second one, strictly Christological; the third, dual variant, simultaneously Mariological and Christological.

Clerodendrum wallichii Merr is a tall ornamental bushy shrub native to southern Asia and Southern China. Traditionally, the leaves of the plant are used for the treatment of fever, skin infections, inflammation, diarrhea and dysentery. Pharmacological and biological investigations on Clerodendrum wallichii is scarce and no scientific investigation has been conducted to evaluate its effect on liver. We, therefore, aimed to evaluate the protective effect of Clerodendrum wallichii methanol extract (MECW) against alcohol-induced liver injury in animal model. Oral acute toxicity study was carried out according to OECD guideline. The hepatotoxicity was induced by continuous administration of ethanol for 4 weeks. The hepatic enzymes (SGPT, SGOT, and ALP) and oxidative stress biomarkers (CAT, GST, SOD, MDA and H2O2) were measured using commercial diagnostic kits. Treatment of rats with MECW (800 mg/kg) showed the highest reduction of body weight (4.76±0.372 vs. 16.92±0.846) and liver weight (3.06±0.128 vs 5.55±0.311). Treatment of alcohol-induced rats with MECW at 200, 400, 600, 800 & 1000 mg/kg significantly (**p<0.01) reduced the level of SGPT. Similarly, serum SGOT and ALP were significantly decreased by MECW doses of 200, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 mg/kg. Treatment of rats with all the doses of MECW significantly increased anti-oxidant enzymes GSH and SOD. Similarly, MECW at doses of 600 and 800 mg/kg significantly promoted CAT levels in liver tissues. On the contrary, MECW treatment significantly diminished oxidative biomarker, MDA. Histopathological observations of liver showed improvement of architecture of hepatic cells having the signs of protection with reduced number of inflammatory cells, vascular degeneration and congestion, cellular degeneration, necrosis and significance reduction of fatty cells accumulation. Acute toxicity study resulted with well-tolerability and safety of MECW doses (200-1000 mg/kg) in laboratory rats. Our study, thus, clearly demonstrated the hepatoprotective effect of Clerodendrum wallichii extract against alcohol-induced liver injury in animal model.

As in other contexts, Iranian students have encountered challenges in the closedown of schools due to the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. The present mixed-methods study investigated the attitudes of 108 high school students, using an online questionnaire to find out whether students preferred either to receive distance e-learning or the traditional face-to-face methods of instruction at schools. To this end, the participants completed a 20-item questionnaire. Also, the study attempted to explore students’ perceptions about the use of distance learning using individual semi-structured interviews. Thematic analysis was used to analyze the qualitative data and the major emergent themes were discussed. The results revealed that most of the students were not ready to adopt the ongoing distance e-learning system. They complained that the pandemic had negatively impacted their learning and found the current distance e-learning system ineffective. The results reflect implications for further contemplation on empowering the learners and teachers to enhance the effectiveness of the instruction in critical situations.

Background: Natural medicines have been widely used around the world for various therapeutic purposes. Hylocereus polyrhizus (F. A. C. Weber) Britton & Rose is known as dragon fruit is also found beneficial for iron deficiency anemia, enhancement of immunity and for the treatment of inflammation and tumor. However, its therapeutic potential against Parkinson’s disease has not yet been explored. \nPurpose: To investigate the anti-Parkinson’s activity of Hylocereus polyrhizus in Swiss albino rats. \nMaterials and Methods: Hydro-alcoholic extract of red drgagon fruit pulp extracts doses of 50, 100, 200,400, 600 and 800 mg/kg were administered orally. Halopyridol was used to induce the locomotive deficiency, and catalepsy, rota rod and standard bar tests were carried out to evaluate the reduction of calepsy and increase in retention of time after admininstration of the extract. Tacrine has been used to induce purposeless jaw movement and the rats were pretreated with dragon fruit extract and then the difference in jaw movements and orofacial burst were calculated. \nResult: Red dragon pulp extract was found to improve retention time significantly (***p<.0001) in rota rod test, degree of catalepsy was also reduced significantly (***p<.0001) in standard bar test and purposeless jaw movements were also reduced after pretreatment with the extract. \nConclusion: Red dragon fruit can reverse locomotive deficiency, catalepsy and uncontrolled jaw movement associated with Parkinson’s disease.

The article discusses the higher educational institutions transition problems to a remote operation mode during the pandemic, taking into account the technical universities work specifics. The article describes the problems that have arisen as a result of distance learning mode transition, as well as some solutions to these problems. The article focuses on the teachers\' readiness problems, the e-courses quality for technical specialities students, the copyright for materials developed by teachers, virtual learning environments that would allow students in distance learning to replace the laboratory stands and equipment use, as well as the providing technical support problems for implementation in the distance learning educational process.
